John, a swing sensation, has gained a reputation as one of the most exciting versatile jazz singers to emerge in the South West in recent years. NORTH SOMERSET BIRD OF PREY CENTRE: OWL WINTER WONDERLAND 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Where else can you have your Christmas letter to Santa delivered by a real owl?! Attach your letter to a beautiful barn owl and watch her take off from your hand towards Santa’s elves. You will even get a certificate to show all your family and friends. There will be many different species of owl for you to meet and hold. Learn all about their amazing adaptations and how some survive the cold, harsh winters in the wild. Funkinsteins, turning the funk-rock genre upside down, this trio have crafted a truly unique master sound that has been captivating audiences across the country. All together, they give a truly dynamic performance with amazing vocals and guitar from Sal, phat slap bass from Alex, and mighty drumming courtesy of Jon. Drawing influences from their backgrounds in jazz, dance and funk, there is nothing musically which quite matches them!

CLEVEDON REPAIR CAFE 10.00am to 12.00pm at the Scout Hall behind the Christadelphian Church on Coleridge Vale North. A community café where you can bring broken items from home to be repaired by Repair Café volunteers. The café aims to encourage our community to send fewer items to landfill by promoting the idea that things can be mended and by sharing repair skills.

A community café where you can bring broken items from home to be repaired by Repair Café volunteers. The café aims to encourage our community to send fewer items to landfill by promoting the idea that things can be mended and by sharing repair skills.
