Spoilt for choice!

We really are spoilt for gift shops in Clevedon and they have much in common – almost all are family businesses’,  all are going from strength to strength, all are run by the warmest, friendliest of owners – all prepared to go the extra mile to help you purchase exactly what you want.   None more so than Gems on Hill Road who have enjoyed strong community and business relationships for the past twenty-four years.

Gems has a very diverse, delightful selection of unique gifts and cards which includes some big names such as, Emma Bridgewater, Chilly’s, Sophie Allport, Jellycat, Sara Miller and Gisela Graham as well as gifts from many smaller companies, little known on the High Street. Over the years, I have purchased some beautiful gifts from Gems and will always go there to buy for children, be it birthdays, Christmas or christenings – I always find something!

A favourite designer of mine is Hannah Dale of Wrendale designs fame. Family have bought me several items of homeware and paper goods in this range and friends often comment on how beautiful they are. They are typical of gifts you will find in Gems in that they are unusual, stylish and fun.

However, my favourite time of the year for shopping at Gems has to be Christmas. The shop is crammed with a huge range of Christmas delights for the tree, for the room, for the party and for the lights. There are gifts galore to suit every family member or friend at every price. It is frankly spectacular.
