Shopping

There are such a great mix of shops in Clevedon – we are lucky to have so many large, mainstream retailers like Aldi, Lidl, Tesco, Asda, Boots, B & M and Superdrug right on our doorstop but then we have a wealth of unique, independent shops as well as a weekly Charter market, a Farmer’s Market on the first Saturday of each month and a Sunday market on the first Sunday of every month from March to December. We also have some very talented individuals selling online. All in all, shopping in Clevedon is a very enjoyable experience.

I was overwhelmed with the response from shop owners and have not yet included them all on the website but fear not, they will appear very soon. If you haven’t yet made contact with me but would like your shop to be featured on here then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I’m a great proponent of ‘Think global buy local!’ because of the ever increasing need to create more sustainable, secure and resilient systems of food production and distribution. Something I believe we should all be very concerned about.

I’m also in great admiration of these talented, creative, innovative individuals prepared to take the risk to follow their dreams who put so much care and time into their business. These business’ have invested in our community, they shape our community and deserve our support.

I hope that the ‘What’s on? page will contribute to an increased awareness of what is on offer in everything related to Food, Art, Culture, Entertainment and Shopping in Clevedon and in some cases lead to an increased uptake of interest If you have any dates that you would like included on this page then do get in touch. I want to keep this page fresh which I won’t be able to do without your support.
