Excitement is building in Clevedon as the town prepares to host its very first Beer Festival at the Clevedon Community Centre and Princes Hall on Friday, April 25th, and Saturday, April 26th, 2025. This brand-new event promises to be a fantastic celebration of local brews, community spirit, and good times, taking place at the Centre, which is at the heart of learning and entertainment in Clevedon. Managed by the Clevedon Community Association, a registered charity, this unique venue stands out as the only self-financing centre in North Somerset. The Beer Festival is set to further highlight the Centre’s vital role in the community.

For a town celebrated for its Victorian elegance and the iconic Clevedon Pier, the arrival of a dedicated beer festival adds a fresh and vibrant note to its already appealing character. Organised by a group of enthusiastic locals, the festival aims to showcase the wonderful variety of beers and ciders produced by breweries from across the region, right here at the Clevedon Community Centre
What to Expect
Step into Prince’s Hall and look forward to a lively atmosphere as the Community Centre is transformed into a haven for beer enthusiasts. Numerous stalls will be showcasing a tempting selection of ales, lagers, stouts, and ciders. From well-known breweries with their beloved classics to exciting new microbreweries with innovative and unique flavours, there will be something to delight every palate.

One of the most anticipated aspects of the festival is the sheer variety of beverages that will be on offer. Whether your preference is a traditional bitter, a hop-forward IPA, a rich and malty stout, or a crisp and refreshing fruit cider, you’re likely to discover a new favourite. Many breweries are expected to bring special brews created specifically for the festival, adding an element of exclusivity to the event. This will be a wonderful opportunity to support local producers and sample beers and ciders that might not be readily available elsewhere in town.
For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, a variety of alcohol-free beers and soft drinks will also be available.

- Friday, April 25, 2025: 6:00 PM – £10

Foodie Delights
Food will be provided by BellyBusters, serving up delicious burgers, sausages, vegetarian options, and chips. A portion of their sales will be donated to support the Community Centre, so be sure to indulge while contributing to a good cause!
Entertainment Line-Up
Beyond the impressive drinks selection, the festival is also set to be a fantastic community gathering. It will be a chance for people to connect, share their thoughts on their favourite beverages, and enjoy the lively backdrop of music provided by local musicians throughout the two days.
Prepare for a festival brimming with local musical talent! Friday night starts with the powerful blues and rock covers of Clevedon’s own Running On Empty, tearing through everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top. They’ll share the stage with fellow Clevedon talent Jerry Turner, the acclaimed singer-songwriter formerly of The Model Folk. Saturday evening’s lineup brings you Harmonic Motion, the versatile acoustic duo (and sometimes trio!) from Clevedon, serving up their signature blend of folk, blues, and timeless hits – with some mystery Friends joining them! Following their set, get ready for the lively jams from the very popular Clevedon band, Travelling Oakies. The evening will then continue with Eddie Talland, another Clevedon local, treating us to a diverse set of acoustic covers and original tunes.

These are the exact timings:
Friday
6:00 – 8:00 – Running on Empty
8:30 – 9:30 – Jerry Turner
Saturday

A Community Celebration
As a first-time festival, this event aims to bring people together to enjoy great drinks, fantastic food, and local music, all while supporting Clevedon Community Association. The atmosphere is expected to be relaxed and welcoming, making it an ideal outing for friends, families, and even those with well-behaved canine companions.
All profits will go towards keeping the Community Centre thriving for future generations. The upcoming Clevedon Beer Festival is a testament to the town’s strong community spirit and growing appreciation for craft beverages. It’s hoped that this inaugural event will pave the way for future festivals and become a much-anticipated addition to Clevedon’s annual calendar.
