Having panache is all about confidence, style and elegance which is a very fitting description of the shop named Panache with its beautifully restored front on Hill Road.
Panache sells stylish, unique yet affordable gifts and home accessories; the range of gifts is breath-taking – cushions, throws, ceramics, glass, a spectacular array of exceptional tableware, candles and the largest selection of the most realistic, artificial flowers to be found in the area. There is something for everyone.
As beautiful as these gifts are, there are many other reasons you might want to pay a visit to Panache. Firstly, they offer a large range of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers to order, from quality suppliers, such as Sanderson, William Morris, Harlequin, Villa Nova, Today Interiors and Malabar. Faced with such an array of fabric pattern books and wallpaper books can be very daunting but regardless of your budget or your setting, whether you are very clear about what you want or have little idea, then Sue and her team, with years of knowledge and expertise are there to help and advise. Sue is also happy to loan books so you can see how a fabric or wall paper looks in situ and she will arrange for samples to be sent directly to your home. It is without question a fabulous service,
Secondly, Panache also supplies paint from the Little Greene Paint Company and Sanderson. They have colour charts in the shop and can order anything from the range including tester pots, which if you order before mid-day can be delivered the next working day.
Thirdly and finally, Sue can supply curtain poles and tracks, offers a pole and blind fitting service and a curtain making service using local professional curtain makers who pride themselves on making truly bespoke handmade curtains and blinds. Once you have chosen the fabric, they come to your home to take measurements and to discuss and finalise exact requirements.
Sue orders the curtain tracks from Silent Gliss, Integra and Swish and the wrought iron and hand finished wooden curtain poles from Cameron Fuller, a specialist based in Honiton, Devon who also offer a bespoke service for wrought iron poles in a bay window.
Deciding on fabrics, colours, textures and finishes that blend perfectly and create the mood that you are looking for is no easy task but Sue and her very knowledgeable team will support you in the process with incredible attention to detail and will make sure that your vision come to life……….with great panache!
